What is healthy diet?

Many of us think about cutting calories in order to lose weight and reduce the risk of heart disease. But there is much more to healthy eating than reducing calories and fat. For example, you may eat diet low in fat but at the same time you may not get enough calcium and this may put you at the risk of getting osteoporosis. Therefore it is very important that you include fresh fruits and vegetables, wholegrains, low fat dairy products and nuts in your diet .
