What causes of high Blood pressure?


High blood pressure is defined, as"hypertension" and is a very common disorder found among all of us. Blood pressure is the force that blood exerts on the arteries and veins
as it circulates through the body. The normal blood pressure is 120/ 80.The common causes of high blood pressure are as follows.
1. Ageing process. The risk of blood pressure increases with the progression of ageing.
2. Diet high in salt and low in fibre also result in high blood pressure.
3. Smoking can result in increase blood pressure as the nicotine in it causes the blood vessels to contract.
4. Anxiety may increase the risk of hypertension.
5. Upper body obesity in particular may increase the risk of high blood pressure as arteries become hardened and stiffened.
6. A number of kidney diseases can cause high blood pressure.
